InsurePodcast is operated by Ben Shaw. This policy explains the limited information the site collects and why.

Information you choose to provide

The Season 2 email form collects your email address so InsurePodcast can send launch and episode updates. The guest form collects the name, work email, company and role, editorial topic, links, and explanation you submit so Ben can evaluate and respond to the idea.

Technical information

Hosting, security, and database providers may process basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, request time, and error logs. InsurePodcast may record aggregate events such as a form start, successful signup, episode play, outbound listening click, or page scroll depth to understand whether the site is useful.

Service providers and external platforms

The site uses OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare for hosting and delivery, and Supabase to store form submissions. Episode audio and transcripts are delivered by Riverside. Links to Apple Podcasts and Spotify take you to those companies, where their own policies apply.

How information is used

Information is used to operate the site, send the updates you requested, assess guest ideas, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot problems. InsurePodcast does not sell or rent personal information and does not use it for behavioral advertising.

Retention and your choices

Subscription records are kept until you opt out or ask for deletion. Guest submissions may be retained as part of editorial planning. You can opt out or request access, correction, or deletion at any time by emailing ben@insurepodcast.com.
